Reorder Paragraph 2

Artificial trees, on the other hand, consume significant energy and petroleum-based materials during their manufacture.

To reduce huge holiday waste, recycling fresh trees after Christmas, instead of not using them, is then the seemingly best choice, where rather than wasting spaces in landfill, trees can be ground into wood chips, to mulch gardens or parks.

A green option as potted trees may seem like, they often don’t fare well in unseasonably warm houses, especially compared to their manmade companions.

For many, Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a lively, fragrant Christmas tree in their home.

To avoid hurting the forests, today almost all the trees selling at seasonal Christmas-tree lots are grown in pots in special tree farms, said Jeff Olson, the VP of M&D for American Forests.
